Go for it! And use the *MIX* (equal parts, distilled water, Liquitex Extender, glycerine) add to your colors a few drops at a time to get them to give you glazing. It takes about a week to dry completely but the effects are cool.

Don't forget textures. You can do that with acrylic mediums.

Oh you would be surprised how fast some of this goes when you have a DVD library to pop in and watch while working.
