Thing about crochet hooks, carving them can be addictive. I suppose an addiction like this is better than being addicted to something destructive and the wonderful part of it, someone ends up with their very own piece of art they can do something with.
Not many folks want to pay the big bucks for what they say they can get at the craft store for a few dollars... That's cool, but you get what you pay for and when you buy from me, you're paying for an heirloom that will get handed down a generation or two before finding its way into a collection or a museum. (Provided nothing happens to it to destroy it.)
Since the weather is beginning to warm up, that means more time outside to carve and I have a few shows to prepare for later in the year. I have a couple of galleries that want my hooks, and I was thinking about getting out and doing some live demos to drum up some business.
So...
I'm hooked on hooks and there will be more to come.
